This website is hosted via GitHub Pages. The provider is GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, technically necessary connection data such as IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, browser type, operating system, and referrer may be processed in order to deliver the website and to ensure the security and stability of the service.
Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable, and cost-efficient provision of this website.
Processing in the USA cannot be excluded. GitHub describes the processing of personal data in its privacy policy.
3. Contact Form via Formspree
For the contact form, I use the service Formspree. The provider is Formspree, Inc., USA. When you submit the form, the data you enter — in particular your name, email address, subject, and message — is transmitted to Formspree and processed there on my behalf so that I can respond to your enquiry.
Processing is carried out for the purpose of responding to your enquiry on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, and subsidiarily on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Formspree processes data in the USA. According to Formspree, standard contractual clauses are used for third-country transfers.
4. No Cookies or Tracking
This website does not use analytics or marketing tools such as Google Analytics. I do not set any cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
Technically necessary processing by the infrastructure providers used remains unaffected.
5. Recipients and Third-Country Transfers
Recipients of personal data may include in particular the following service providers:
- GitHub, Inc. as hosting provider for GitHub Pages
- Formspree, Inc. as service provider for form submissions
Both providers are based in the USA. Transfers to a third country are only made in compliance with the legal requirements of Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
