I'm Paul Scholz — IT specialist with a focus on automation, AI integration and infrastructure. No team, no agency. If you write, I read it. When I reply, it's my own assessment.
As COO of an IT service provider, I was responsible for infrastructure across a broad range of industries — from owner-managed businesses and healthcare to public-sector organisations. Since 2020, I've been responsible for critical IT infrastructure at one of Germany's largest federal agencies: hundreds of Hyper-V hosts managed via SCVMM, large-scale VDI environments, and automation pipelines built on Automic UC4 and Microsoft PowerShell that process tens of thousands of jobs every day.
Without enterprise overhead — but with enterprise quality. I know exactly what separates infrastructure that holds under operational pressure from infrastructure that only looks good in a demo. What I build is documented, maintainable, and designed to run when nobody is watching.
Privately, I run an extensive homelab: Docker stacks, local AI models via Ollama, self-hosted services. Not as a hobby — as a development environment for what I recommend to clients.
